Although Steven
has lived most of his life in Manhattan, it was extensive
travels around the country during the mid 1970s that fired
his interest in both black and white and color photography
as a way to express his deep, abiding love for the natural
world. Since then, he has worked in the graphic arts for 30
years. He started with a 35 MM camera with Kodachrome 25 ASA
film, but now has embraced the newer technology of digital
photography. He produces all his giclee prints using archival
inks.
Steven’s work may be viewed at many
of the juried art shows in the metropolitan New York area
and at the Katahdin Photo Gallery in Bar Harbor from May through
October. “There is a beauty and a wonder in the fog
and mist of this rocky coast,” he says, a beauty and
wonder he shares with others through the medium of photographic
art.
As a freelance photographer, Steven is also
available for professional assignments. |
